A grid-connected agri-PV system with 1.6 MWp is to be erected on farmland in Wieselburg. All of the PV electricity generated in this way is fed into the grid.
Through this Agri-PV system, high value blueberry crops are protected from hail, heavy rain and strong sunlight. Furthermore, water consumption is reduced due to less evaporation. Additional positive effects include reduced mildew pressure (harmful fungus) and frost protection. Furthermore, the regional use of electricity is being promoted via an energy community.
Commissioning planned for summer 2023.
