At the Korneuburg site, RWA’s new central location, a PV system of 740 kWp was installed in the autumn of 2019 on the roofs of the spare parts warehouse, the technology centre warehouse, John Deer World, the central seed warehouse and the newly opened organic seed plant, in addition to an existing system of 300 kWp. The plant is operated as a surplus feeder to cover its own needs. A special feature to be mentioned here is the decentralized connection concept with complete controllability by the grid operator in the sense of the TOR generators.
