A ground-mounted photovoltaic system was constructed on an area of 10 hectares. The photovoltaic system has a capacity of 10 megawatts and can therefore supply approximately 3,000 households with green electricity. 18,512 modules with a capacity of 540 kWp result in a total output of 9,996.48 kWp. The substructure was founded on driven piles.
This allows the system to be dismantled with virtually no residue. The system is mounted on a 20° elevation and faces south. A high-voltage line runs across the PV system, which had to be considered during planning and construction. The PV system feeds into a nearby EVN Naturkraft wind farm.
